Default new SHEER video codec looks to be future?

    http://www.bitjazz.com/en/products/sheervideo/

read about in a review. Half the size of uncompressed but still lossless
    - up to 50 x faster than other lossless codecs
    - 7x faster than DV
    - 3x faster than Apple's photojpeg or motionjpeg

    sounds very good............

being used by some heavyweight production companies, inclu those of the Simpsons & King of The Hill.

available for AE and FCP, tho not RT in FCP (unless demand makes it so).
and excellent in cross platform use.

    what say you?

    Hi
It seems to be an excellent solution to a small number of user's specific workflow problems, but just another alternative unsupported product (broken in the past by an FCP upgrade) for the rest of us.

But that is the fate of small enterprises pitting their wares against the mainstream big boys
