I'm not usually up at this early hour on a sunday, so I've never seen this show before but I have to say I find it very amateurish.
There was a discussion including input from two people on webcams, these opinions were received at very low audio level and both the people in the studio and myself were straining to hear what was being said. No one behind the scenes seem to be aware or capable of raising the volume to a level near the mic level in the studio. This was followed by a short piece by Edwina Currie on how to discipline children; of course it was marred by eratic and shakey camerawork. In fairness to the cameraman I think my camerawork would be compromised and shakey if I was filming ms Currie, but there are things called tripods. I appreciate sunday morning is an 'ungodly' hour to some people but these people are being paid and should take some sort of pride in their work. |

I saw a lot of this programme & thought it was quite good apart from the audio problems & the footage quality of the Currie peice. You don`t even need a tripod to cover these scenes, it`s simple really, "HOLD THE FRIGGING CAMERA STILL"! I`m sure there is a section of our producers/directors etc who think that constant crash zooming & movement not associated with what is being said enhances the viewers perspective, NO IT DOESN`T! It usually means the viewer is hacked off & hits the off button, so let`s start a campaign to end this purile idea.
