Has www.computervideo.net been pulled ? It has always been my internet explorer homepage, but tonight it shows "page not found".
I still found it useful for finding the dates of reviews in past issues of the mag, so one could find which back issue to dig out and read. If it has been axed, has that database been saved? If it is just my server that isn't behaving, I would assume that the computer video website will be pulled soon anyway, and if so, will the new site have any of this and other information available?
Many thanks
Rick.

Ah ha, it's back again! However, it would be good to know when/if it gets canned (and there seems little point in keeping a website for a dropped publication), whether relevant data can be saved on the new DVdoctor site.

Rick,

There is currently no intention to take down the stuff sitting on www.computervideo.net although that may change if the cost to us of hosting that site is thought to be unreasonable (the site, as always, being hosted and paid for by John Ferrick!).

If we do leave it in place, then what we may do is add pointers from there over to relevant stuff on www.dvdoctor.net
