Wi-Fi enabled SDHC cards

The beauty of using my phone as a camera is the ease and speed with which I can email the pictures to anyone and everyone. But I've been having a read of these new Wi-Fi enabled Transcend SDHC cards and they appear to be able to do a similar sort of thing with shots taken on my Canon DSLR.

Anyone tried this?  Any snags I should know about as the cards are about 3x the price of a standard SDHC card.

Here's the rub - when you set-up and play with an Eye-Fi type card it can work like a charm.
When you're actually on a job with it and NEED it to work the chances are the damned thing will play dumb.
Eventually it will work but only when you're on the brink of a full mental breakdown.

My experience with (Sony) built-in WiFi is brilliant on Android and pretty good on iOS. For some reason iOS is just that little bit more picky about seeing the camera properly.
