Hi all

I was at the Plymouth Moat house this weekend filming a wedding and come the evening part of the day I always get the guests to leave a message on film for the bride and groom.

At the later part of the evening the guests discovered that Mark Owen (ex: take that) was in the hotel bar area and asked if he would leave a message for the couple of which he obliged to do so. Thought it was very good of him to do so and a nice touch for the bride and groom.

I was filming a wedding last year in Cameron House Loch Lomond. Robbie Williams was staying there for his concert at Hampden Park.

Robbie was spotted at the bar and the bride asked his bodyguard if she could have a picture with him. The bodyguard said "Its your day not his madam". Naturally she was a bit upset and it spoiled her evening. I wonder if Robbie knew though. Perhaps he would have said yes.

I remember a story in the papers a while back. President Clinton was playing Golf, when he noticed a bride & groom at the club. Shook hands & congratulated them - on film naturally. Good publicity for him (Cynic that I am ) And - maybe - a nice memory for them.

The wedding where President Clinton appeared was being filmed by a Yorkshire video guy at Rudding Park in Harrogate, a venue we film at regularly, but unfortunately, not that day. He sold the footage to Sky etc and made quite a bit of money once it was syndicated.
We have a King from Nigeria on film at his nieces wedding, which was a tremendous day. The tribe spontaniously sang 'graceland' style in Church, very moving and very colourful.

Hi Branny

I filmed at Rudding Park a couple of weeks ago - first time there. Nice venue, friendly staff - but those enourmous air conditioning units are a nightmare!!

Hi Gerry
The first time I filmed at Rudding Park, I was unaware of the air con . . . until the room went quiet, then, b*%@ocks. I think they got it cheap from a lancaster bomber.
