Can anyone recommend a quick release for a Manfrotto 116 head to use with a handheld camera eg XH-A1 or EX1? I know it's overkill but will be extremely steady and it's going unused at the moment.

From what I've read on a few sites, The Manfrotto 116 video head is the same as the US (Bogen) 3066. So if you can find a quick plate for the 3066, you should be good to go.

Actually I think I've got the answer myself similar to what ChrisG suggested but the 577, http://www.keene.co.uk/electronics/multi.php?mycode=MN577 which is also compatible with the 501 tripod which I have as well, meaning I can have the same plate on both cameras and use on either tripod, great!
Thanks
