PixelPops is a plugin for Photoshop for creating DVD case inserts & disc & I`ve used it for a long time. It`s a discontinued software package now. It runs fine in XP but now that I`ve upgraded my desktop machine to windows 7 64 bit I can`t get it to run! It will install but not function. I`ve tried running it in compatabillity mode with no joy plud when I run the error check it comes up with "Compatability issues" So I wondered if anyone else has any ideas. I`ve tried email the software author but am not very hopeful.

Re: PixelPops
Had an email from the author saying it will work with win7 & that he will forward instruction when he gets to the office! So if anyone else needs these I`ll post when I get them.

Re: PixelPops
PixelPops now works in win 7! So if anyone else needs this, here`s the solution.smiley                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86) and find the PixelPops folder and highlight it
2. Right click and choose COPY
3. Navigate back out of the folder and go into C:\Program Files  ***this one does NOT include the x86
4. PASTE the PixelPops folder into this root directory
5. Go to your START menu and find the PixelMixer icon (or the same one that got put on your desktop)
6. Right click and choose PROPERTIES and click the ADVANCED tab on the bottom right of the window.
7. Click the box that says "Run as administrator" then click OK...then APPLY to close the window
That should do it...my copy of PixelMixer now works perfectly in Windows 7 every time! :-)
