I am interested of Adobe Photoshop Element 10 also I seem to be interested in the Photoshop Element 10 & Premier. Because of my disability I do not do much Digital Photography nor Videoing these days but I seem to like the Digital side of Photography, so I cannot seem to decide which best suit me . What will the opinion be from the experts?
WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY XMAS, A HAPPY, HEALTHY & PROSPERIOUS 2012
GIMP will edit photos - has a lot of the features of Photoshop for free. Can seem a bit clunky but more-or-less everything you might reasonably need to tickle up JPEG images is there. (Haven't tried it with RAW).
Combine this with Google Picassa & you have almost the same as Photoshop Elements.
We do have Photoshop Elements 9 on one of our machines - we don't use any of the photo organisation or online stuff - I just put it into Edit mode - it works like a cut-down version of Photoshop. I can find my way around it just fine.
The Adobe stuff is pretty slick and for the money it is OK - especially if you want to treat yourself. If you can live with a slightly less elegant solution then checkout Picassa/GIMP.
I have had Premiere Elements v5 and v9 at various times on laptops but never got to grips with either - Probably nothing wrong with the software. I'm stuck in my ways after using the full version for too long.
Thank you Gavin for your reply.
Have a nice Christmas.
Hi Gavin, I have now got the Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and was very surprised with the enclose booklet "GETTING STARTED WITH ...... " I would have thought that for an extra few pounds Adobe would have included a full manual of USER GUIDE. Ther are so many books on the Internet (Amazon) can you recommend one for me. Thank you.
I purchased the Elements 10 and there are 3 Disc, to install for Windows to start with Disc 1, to install for Mac OS start with Disc 3 can someone tell me what Disc 2 is for?
what happens if you stick the disc in a drive ?
Disc 1 contains the software for windows 32 bit
Disc 2 for Windows 64 bit
Disc 3 for mac
