Z1 £3,300 incVAT - good price or not ??

Hope its OK to post a thread like this here Bob but I'm looking to buy a Z1 and am trying to get a sense of the best prices one can expect to find one for.

The mat box on show on the Sony Stand at Video Forum also looked like a very handy addittion. Anyone done many test with promist filters etc.? Also what are they like in low light compared say with a DSR570 or such-like?

Any thought or supplier recommendations welcome.

It's about the best price you will get at the moment. In fact most places are out of stock.

I got a few extras with mine from Mitcorp so not sure exactly what the camcorder price was but somewhere close to what you have quoted. It arrived last Thursday and for someone who previously used an XM1, it's quite a step up!!

Think I'll just take the plunge then. I know there is a deal of speculation about new offerings at NAB but it seems there is unlikely to be anything new from Sony in the HDV world.
