Well, I dropped enough hints to damage the flooring. I kept telling the Mrs that I wanted a 'special effects camera' for Christmas in the hope that she'd go into the Sony shop and ask the assistant if there was such a thing as a special FX camera for sale. Did she? Did she heck. Sigh. Onwards with SD for a bit longer.
