I was just about to send this to the 'Thread dump' as I thought it was someone new joining the forum, in order to post a free advert. I hadn't realised Bob had opened a new section for the regulars to advertise what they do. I looked at the member's name to see who had had the effrontery to display their wares and got a shock when I saw '2620 posts'.

"Hang on a minute," I thought, "it's Dave R Smith, he's been with us for ages!"

Oops! Sorry Dave. :o :o :o

Compared to someone with 8,719 posts I'd say he was a new member......... :)

Ah, but look at the date joined... a veritable newcomer!

It's not quantity but quality that counts (as somebody or another used to say... probably). Dave, you must have far too much time on your hands... :D

Thank-you for not casting me to oblivion Chirpy - it reminds me of the Krypton criminals sent in a sealed prism into outer space, never to return again.

It's time well spent - as I said 'Video Production is both my passion and my profession'.
As the subject matter constantly changes I never tire of it - and the Forum is my main communication within our industry.

Infocus - please note - my posts aren't inflated by the likes of 'The tennis game'.
However as I passed 50 recently, I'd be happy if you referred to me as the 'New boy';)

Hi Bestshotz,

Yes variety is the spice of life.. - unfortunately old spice is becomes more apt.

I'm pleased this thread served as an ice-breaker, to make this your first post.

Goog look to you to Bestshotz - no doubt we'll be chatting again.

Dave.
