DV In on Sony TRV110

Can anyone help? I have enabled my Sony TRV110 with the Datavision PC DVin, however, I cannot seem to get it to record from the analogue inputs. I have not got a digital output device yet.

I happend to be in this section and saw your query. I think you should have put it into the desktop video section. You would then get a few more answers. This may help, I know narda about 8mm but the process should be the same as on a DV camera. Are you sure that you have the camera in tapedeck mode, not the normal record mode? How are you controlling the camera? if you want to record manualy you have to leave the widget in, and use the pause button. Did you read the instructions......
