I first discovered Computer Video Magazine at WH Smiths on Waterloo station in October 1997. Since then it has been increasingly more difficult to find. WH Smith on London Bridge station is the only reliable source I know. I found one newsagent in Tonbridge Wells that had a copy in 1998 and another in Raynes Park SW20 who had a May 1999 copy in August 1999! OK, Don't tell me, get a subscription. But if nobody new finds it, what kind of future can it have?

Rob, I have to agree with you on this. About nine months ago I walked into the local library(WH SMITH) and proceeded to work my way through several mags.I saw a mag about video editing on computers but at the time I wasn't into it, so after a brief trawl I bought something else and left.(Stick with me here is the point).
Now after buying a Matrox Marvel, video capture started to take my interest and I decided to get a magazine that would help.
I remebred from the distant past, the magazine that I had viewed but couldn't remeber the title.I phoned Future Publishing,Newsquest,IPC etc. asking them about a magazine that edits video. But to no avail.I then phoned the four closest WH Smith stores(including Birmingham) and on the last call to the town of Redditch, the sales assistant said " I think I know the magazine your on about, I'll ask the manager".He came back to me and said the magazine I was looking for was "Computer Video".Now I have to say, in agreement with you, that CV is not the easiest magazine to find, but by God it's one of the best things I have done.
Cheers, Neil.
PS. Now that I have found it I haven't subscribed, but I have asked them to reserve copy for me.
PPS.I am now on Premiere 5.1a , Media Studio Pro 5.2, and Digital 8
