Due to the vast number of permutations of kit people put together, we all seem to be flying blind when we first assemble our preferred items of hard and soft ware. This is despite first reading the various magazine "road tests" of the individual parts. It is too big a task to expect anybody to log all known permutations, but if Computer Video would run a forum web-page with subdirectories, entries could be posted say, in the order CAM/PC/VCR/EDITHARDWARE/Software/Comments (ie. Good or Won't Work). "Good" would be positive, but "Bad" not necessarily nagative. This would give everyone considering new or different kit a broad & structured experience base to lanch from. Good Idea?
