I am running Win98SE on a P111 600mhz. I would like to put Win2K on my system and choose at start-up between them. I know I will have to have two partitions on my c: drive but how can they both be C: or can I boot to any drive letter?. How do I get my comp to ask for a boot drive on start-up.
I have two caddies fitted so would I be better just using another HD for Win2K.

You should be able to install on the same drive, used to do this with Win 98, then Install Win NT4, bootup uses NT boot menu, but gives access to Win 98 aswell.
(I assume you mean Win 2000 and not Win ME)
Another method is to use Partition Magic, gives you more control, then you can have mutliple O/S on different partitions, and BootMagic controls which one you want.

Hope this helps

When you install Win2k (or NT) on a DOS-based system (which Windows 98 is) it will automatically create a boot menu for you. I highly recomend you partitioning your drive and install win2k to D: (or whatever, just not c:). Your system would still boot from C: but show a menu allowing you to choose operating system. If you then start win2k it will know that the files are located on D: and continue from there.

Good luck!
