is there a way of saving flash videos after viewing them on a web site?

yes. find the files in your Temp Internet Files and copy to another folder.

easy access via TOOLS / INTERNET OPTIONS / BROWSING HISTORY / SETTINGS / VIEW FILES

will then need an FLV player, of which there is a good free one on www.download.com

;)

Switch to Firefox ( Mac or PC) (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/)as your browser and install one of the many plugins that allow you to save video files from HERE (https://addons.mozilla.org/search.php?q=save+video&type=A&app=firefox)

Super can do this. MP4 to MPEG1 - just done it as a test - worked fine.

You might get a problem if the iTunes video is a RM (copy protected) file.
