I have a stabiliser for my NV-DX100 and forgot to turn the RECORD off recently. I was walking along with the camera facing down (upside down)about a foot from the ground. When I played back the video - everything was upside down - of course. But in Premiere I was able to place it the right way round and it works perfectly. It really does produce some effective footage.
Do take care though - I don't want to be blamed for real accidents!

What do you mean by a stabiliser Roger? Something like a steadycam I presume? Is this home-built or a commercial item? I f homebuilt where did you get the plans? I'm looking to try to possibly build one sometime soon myself and have been looking at various websites for ideas. Unfortunately I do not have a degree in Engineering or Physics (as would seem to be required for some 'home build' projects) but am fairly practical and willing to have-a-go. So any ideas Roger http://www.safety-online-internet.com/host/computervideo/ubb/wink.gif

Chrome. The stabiliser is a Glidecam 1000 Pro. Costs around £230 and works very well. If you need details - e-mail me direct.

Andy - it's not a Steadycam - I'm not in that league! My stabiliser is a Glidecam 1000 Pro. You can send for a catalogue and demo VHS cassette to CKE Distribution - tel 01274 533996 e-mail ckeurope@aol.com
