could someone please tell me how you play back from a sony trv900e at high speed without getting any distortion? I always seem to get lines over the picture when it plays back quickly.

Play back the tape in the normal way, but use your remote's FF button as you capture the footage onto your PC. Although it'll look all brokrn up and useless on the TRV900's screen, the capture prog will save complete frames, and I find it works very well.

I was searching for info about my 900s, and came across this vintage "mooblie".
