Hi,

I'm trying to find the best pricing for the above. What's the cheapest that people have found? I've found Planet PC are selling it for £3,380 ex VAT.

Also, what tripod would be best with this camera?

Cheers,

Bikergirl

Thanks!

Any ideas what a good tripod would be for this camera? I have a Manfrotto 055A legs and a 128RC head.

The 128RC head is nearing its limit for the big(ish) Z1, but it's worth trying it out on a shoot before you abandon it. The big problem will be one of balance, where you can't slide the camera fore and aft on the head.

If you do change the pins, go for a levelling centre column every time.

Mooblie , I would arrange a 6 month vacation in a country with no extradition treaty with UK.

SHE will kill you for suggesting the above .............

My first extra purchase (having just bought a Z1E from Optex for £2950 ex VAT) has been another Manfrotto Universal Sliding Plate from Keene's for £34.99. It will balance a bare Z1E, and also one loaded up with a couple of mics.

I bought a Z1E fromo Creativevideo.co.uk was £3140 but they offer price matching so anywhere cheaper i doubt it and also the tripod you need is a pro6 but you could just go along with a pro5 if budget is important
