Right,

I want to jazz up my Star Wars Helmet site, and adding video will soon be on the cards.

In the meantime I'd like to be able to show nice hi(ish)res images of various helmets (e.g. a Stormrooper), and allow the user to "look" around the helmet by revolving and tilting it.

Whats the best/easiest way of achieving this? I currently use MS Frontpage 2000, but could upgrade to something else i suppose.

Cheers

Jez

Viewpoint technologies is by far and away the most interesting developing technology in this area, IMHO. Unfortunately you and any visitors to your site will have to download the plug-in, but it's well worth it!
Use of the technology is free for non-commercial use. Check the homepage at: http://www.viewpoint.com/ or here for demos: http://www.viewpoint.com/demos/vw/index.html or here for other options and more viewpoint demo links http://www.dvdoctor.net/cgi-bin/ubb/wink.gif http://www.cs.unc.edu/~isenburg/research/3DforEB/

You could even use the technology to get a view from inside the stormtroopers helmet!!

Thanks for the info. VERY impressive although looks pretty complex too.

Do you know whether its able to take loads of photshop images and "stitch" them all together then?
