Hi all.

Any help with this would be greatly appriciated.

Have run my AVMaster for 3 years with no problem under NT4. So far so good.

After a hardware upgrade to Abit KT7a-raid (raid disabbled), Duron 750, 256 MB ram, Geforce 2GTS PRO and Intel Pro100+ NIC and still running NT4+sp6a.

Basicly I have no audio.

There are NO conflicts (IRQ or memory), and everything in multimedia-tabs shows up OK.

Looking at the card, (rev 1.3) there are 4 little LED-diodes (?) (lights) running.

If I recal correctly, these light should run, so no problems.

I tryed playing WAV-files, MP3 files and the AVMaster can play these files with no problems. (also paly windows-sounds OK)

But when i try to capture video the picture get grabbed, but there is no audio.

Is it possible that I have a foulty IN-port ?
(wich would really suck big time... lol)

kind regards
rene

Yes, unfortunately it does sound like a faulty audio input on the card. To check this, you could try testing it on another system or send it back to your dealer to test and then repair/replace.

I had this problem on a dual pIII 850. Try slowing it down. Also try using an audio capture program to test the audio hardware

okay.. thanks... but:

I wasnt happy with the thought of just sending my card back, so I tryied a little of everything. And funny enough... The card seem to work fine under NT4 but wont work under W9x, WinME & 2000... figure that one out...
