still pictures with 3CCD camera

I changed digital movie camera to Panasonic NV-DX100EG ( 3 CCD ).
Before I had regular Panasonic and Sony (PCxx)- no problems.

When I am capturing still picture I am getting black line on right side picture.
- I changed drivers ( DV.now(lite)1.5, DV.nowAV, beta 1.6)- all the same
- I rerecord to my old camera: the same
- using old tapes in new camera - OK

How can i use new 50 tapes and new camera foward ?

I have a DX100, an early one, PAL format. It also makes a black stripe at the right hand side. The reason is rather complicated, but I'll try to make it easy.

The scanning standard for PAL signals in digits is 702 pixels by 576 lines. That's what's needed for output to analogue. The DV standrd conforms to the broadcast specifications for digital video, and allows up to 720 pixels by 576 lines. But only 702 of them are used for output, the rest are assumed to be blanked off.

So, the extra pixels that you would see if you didn't have the black stripe at the right hand side should be blanked on output anyway (9 pixels). As should 9 from the left hand side.

the 4:3 image is 702 by 576, not 720 by 576.
