I'm after a USB SmartMedia reader for my Fuji camera. The actual Fuji (SM-R1) is alot more expensive (about £60 or £70) than a generic one (£25 from scan).
Are these things generic ? Or am I stuck with the Fuji one ?
Do the contents of a SmartMedia card appear as directory under explorer, or will I need software ?
Thanks,
Adam

Hi Buckers
I use a Swift Cardport circa £30 which
works very well with a Fuji Camera.

John,
great minds think alike, I'd actually ordered one of these (What Camera Best Buy).
Really fast, and it works on both Win98 and Win ME.
I've actually seen USB SmartMedia readers for about £9.99 since.
