I found a site which is sure to be of interest to everyone planning to take the streaming video plunge.
It's called PlayStream (http://www.playstream.com) and they have a good selection of (comparatively) quite keenly-priced options for streaming media hosting.
Accounts typically support Windows, Real, QuickTime and streaming MP3 formats.
Even if that's not for you, have a look at the Streaming calculator (http://www.playstream.com/support.asp), available as a free download from the site. By entering the duration of video and choosing the bitrate, it will tell you how big your encoded files will be.
What will they think of next?!
Cheers,
Pete
