Anyone use Costco for purchases such as computer equipment, DVD recorders etc, are their prices any good.
Thanks,

Hi
The only video related stuff I`ve gotten from Costco so far are 10 packs of JVC digital tapes, at approx £19 inc vat. Prices on other related stuff aren`t bad, dependent on what they have at a given time.

Thanks for that Peter, I might give them a go.
By the way for anyones info Makro are selling TDK miniDV tapes 5 packs BOGOF for £15.26 incl vat that's £1.53 each, don't know how that compares with internet prices.

My experience of Costco is you never go in and just buy a couple of items. You always see a bargin, be it loo rolls or awnings and come away having spent £300. Thank god they don't take Credit cards! Electronics aren't really there thing, at least I've never seen any bargin camera that are worth looking at. Anyone want to buy 200 loo rolls cheap? :D ;)

Neil Brahahahah :D
Been there done it
I wouldn't buy electrical/electronic goods at Costco, always seen this stuff cheaper elsewhere. They always look cheap though, because they tempt you with the ex VAT price.

I looked at a Pannasonic DVD recorder in Costco - got it £20 cheaper (and Multistandard) at richer Sounds. Still worth membership though
