Can anyone help me with my problem?
I have a Asus KN97X Motherboard, Award BIOS, and my OS (Windows 98)is on one on my SCSI drives. I am trying to install a IBM Deskstar 22 Gb drive and are using the IBM utility to partition and format the drive. I have set the BIOS to boot from the SCSI, and this is confirmed as the C drive and the new drive as D when I use the Windows 98 Boot disk, but the PC tries to boot from the new IBM drive using the Dynamic overlay blue banner. Has anybody had any experience in running IDE drives as well as SCSI? on the same PC. I want to keep the IBM drive just for capture and rendering. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Bob
