Can anyone reccomend a good rain cover for this camera?
Wouldn't want to get drizzle on it!

I have the same problem too.
I saw an ad for Optex who showed one from Kata for around £115 I think. I used to use a Portabrace cover for my PD100 which even covered the wide angle lens but can't fond one the Z1.

Yes its difficult to film in this country without having some ability to fend off a bit of rain.
Even more so in Cornwall I suppose!

I've bought one for my FX1 which is made by Sony especially for it.(Sony LCRFXA Rain Jacket
) You can even use the LCD in the rain, since it will slip into a little pocket in the top.
It only cost about £95 from www.hifibitz.co.uk (http://www.hifibitz.co.uk)

That was on show at the Video Forum. It's always good to get one specifically desgined for the camera, then it fits smile.gif

Elbow - what rain? I've just got back from the Celtic Film Festival in Cardiff and more than glad to be back into sunshine and smiles!
Robin Hi
Thanks for the url - looks a bit like what a lap dancer would wear in the rain!
